Role As a Councillor

I moved in Southborough from Glasgow in 2000 since then I have been living here with my wife Farah and work as a Computer Programmer in a multi-national company. I am a campaigner for community cohesion and has been actively involved in setting up a multi-faith Friendship Group in Southborough. I also runs a charity organization which provides free medical facilities to deprived areas in South Asia. Since my election as a Town Councillor in 2007, I have served on the Planning & Transportation, Finance & General Purpose and Parks & Cemetery committees. I am enthusiastic about providing more recreational facilities in High Brooms & Southborough

Association with Pakistan

I came to UK from Pakistan in October 1998 for higher education after completing my M.Sc degree in Statistics in Pakistan and completing my 4 years teaching at Govt College Lahore.

I studied at Strathclyde University Glasgow and completed my diploma in IT in 200 and moved in Southborough becuase I got a job in this area .
